Glebe StudCo Presidency
During his time at Glebe Collegiate Institute, Skyler was elected president of the Glebe Students' Council. He made significant contributions to the school by leading the filming of assemblies, hosting the Glebe 100th Anniversary Students Celebration Week, and being elected as Co-Chair of the OCDSB Students' President Council, where he organized board-wide meetings and activities.

Glebe Students Council - Virtual Assembly
During his tenure as President of Glebe Collegiate Institute in 2022, the school was in the recovery stage from the pandemic. Skyler Ye led the student committee to film and produce five assembly videos, making Glebe Collegiate Institute the first school in the board to host assemblies using the pre-recorded live stream method. This innovative approach positioned the school as one of the few in Canada to adopt such a method.

Glebe 100th Anniversary Celebration Week
During his presidency, he organized and hosted the Glebe Collegiate Institute's 100th Anniversary Celebration Events. This includes the Glebe Alumni Reunion Event and Glebe 100th Anniversary Students Celebration Week, which included different activities.

OCDSB Student President Council - Co-Chair
During the time he served as president, he also got elected by the OCDSB Students Presidents Council to serve as a council co-chair, he hosted council meeting, and school board wide events for both students and their presidents.

School Council Students Representative
As a council president, he was representing the entire students' voices during the school council (parent council) meeting and brought school news and innovative ideas to the council meeting every month.
